1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Hebei Yangu Trading Co., Ltd. ("YANGU", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal information in connection with www.yagurock.com, our Facebook and Instagram lead ads, and related business enquiries by email, phone or WhatsApp.

2. Information we collect

• Enquiry details: your name, work email, company, product or project requirements, and any phone or WhatsApp number you choose to provide. Your message may include quantities, delivery destination and other information you choose to share.
• Facebook and Instagram enquiries: information you submit through our lead forms, such as contact details, company and product interests, together with the advertising source or submission details supplied by Meta.
• Business communications: messages, quotations, order correspondence and information needed to respond to your requests.
• Technical and security information: your IP address, enquiry submission time, and browser or server information generated when you access the website. We use a verification code and session information to help prevent automated submissions.

Fields marked with an asterisk on our website forms are required to submit an enquiry. Phone and WhatsApp details are optional. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity-document numbers or sensitive personal information in an enquiry.

3. How we use information

We use your information to answer enquiries, provide product information and quotations, clarify project requirements, communicate about orders and delivery, maintain related business records, prevent spam and misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell enquiry information. We do not use an enquiry as automatic permission to send unrelated marketing. If we wish to send separate promotional communications, we will ask for your separate consent first. You may refuse or withdraw that consent without affecting your enquiry or order.

4. Facebook and Instagram lead ads

If you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta provides us with the information you choose to submit. We use it to follow up on that enquiry by the contact methods you provide, including email, phone or WhatsApp where appropriate. We do not sell lead data or pass it to other businesses for their independent marketing.

Submitting a lead form does not by itself subscribe you to ongoing promotional campaigns. Meta also handles information under its own Privacy Policy. This page describes YANGU's handling of your information; it is not Meta's policy.

5. When and why we share information

Access is limited to people who need the information for the purposes described here. Service providers supporting website hosting, business email, communications or enquiry management may process information on our behalf. If needed to fulfil an order, relevant details may be shared with logistics or professional service providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect legitimate rights and security.

We do not provide your enquiry details to other merchants for their own marketing. If a different use or disclosure requires your permission, we will ask you first.

6. Cookies, browser storage and translation

The website uses the PbootSystem session cookie to support website sessions and functions such as enquiry verification. The website's language feature may also use cookies or local storage to remember language choices and cache translated text. You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser; blocking them may affect verification or language features.

Our website includes a translation feature configured to use Microsoft Edge translation through translate.js. When translation is used, page text and technical connection information, such as your IP address, may be sent to the translation provider. Microsoft explains its processing in its Privacy Statement. Do not put confidential information into public webpage text or translation tools.

This privacy-policy page does not load advertising trackers or automatic translation scripts. If we introduce optional analytics or advertising technologies on the website, we will update the relevant notice and request consent where required before using them.

7. WhatsApp and other external services

If you choose a WhatsApp link or contact us through WhatsApp, your communications also use WhatsApp's service and are subject to its Privacy Policy. Following links to external platforms takes you to services with their own privacy practices. We use the contact information and messages we receive only for the purposes explained in this policy.

8. Retention

We retain enquiry information while handling your request and for follow-up reasonably connected with that request. We review whether information is still needed and delete or anonymise it when its purpose has ended, unless retention is required for an ongoing business relationship, order administration, accounting, legal obligations or resolving a dispute.

Retention is determined by the purpose, the status of the enquiry or order, applicable record-keeping requirements and any legal claim. You can ask us to delete information or explain the retention criteria that apply to your records. A withdrawal of marketing consent does not require us to delete records we must lawfully retain for other purposes.

We operate in China, so information you provide to us may be received and processed in China. The platforms and service providers you use to communicate with us may process information in other countries. We handle any required international transfers in accordance with applicable data protection requirements. You can contact us to ask about processing locations and safeguards relevant to your information.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any legal reason that prevents full deletion.
